Meet the team
Fisikal is the brainchild of legendary personal trainer Rob Lander who has been eating, sleeping and drinking nothing but Ruby code, usability studies and system integration proposals since 2007. Thousands of development hours, countless decaffeinated coffees and carrot and tomato salads have gone into it and we all hope you agree that it shows.
Rob Lander
Rob lander is the CEO and founder of Fisikal. Coming from a Personal Training background, he’s the project’s Subject Matter Expert. Rob has over 17 years industry experience and truly understands what the clients and market really wants, and why they want it. Rob developed the application from a need within his own business where clients would often forget they had a session and then challenge him when he charged them. The benefits of being a busy trainer has challenges on the other side, not giving you enough time to properly manage your cash flow.
Emma Excell
Emma Excell is a COO of Fisikal. She began her career working as a complex and illiquid bond analyst, later moving into sales. Before joining Fisikal Emma spent 13 years living in Japan, Germany and the UK raising a family. In addition she has undertaken property development projects both in the UK and Sri Lanka. Emma and Rob operate a 2 in a box management style.
Formed by award winning creative's Per Kvalvaag and Matthew Byrne, Germinatr is a user-centric design company based in London. Germinatr devised the Fisikal brand name and brand mark, and is responsible for ongoing User Interface and User Experience design work.
