EōS Fitness, a US based gym chain with 84 sites and growing, recognised the need to upgrade its digital process around group exercise bookings to create a more efficient member and instructor experience.
Requiring a solution that caused minimal interruption to the day-to-day running of the clubs, EōS Fitness partnered with Fisikal, experts in digital fitness management solutions, to manage this digital upgrade.
Joella Hopkins, VP of Group Fitness at EōS Fitness, explains: “We previously had a digital system, a 4-step process which involved member booking kiosks and the printing of paper tickets. This process was open to far too many errors and quickly became outdated as our site numbers increased.”
“By upgrading our digital solution, the goal was to provide members with a smooth booking experience but also to improve business efficiencies and to encourage accurate reporting. This upgrade allows our front desk team and our instructors more time to spend face-to-face with members and most importantly, for the members to have a reliable, uncomplicated, user-friendly process.”
Upgrading any system, when a business is already established can seem daunting as any interruption to the day-to-day running of a club can seem a risk, but Fisikal ensured that ‘the switch’ was fast, smooth and effective.
“The changeover was smooth, professional and Fisikal actually made it a fun experience.” Hopkins adds. “We had to overcome some technical challenges but the team was always responsive, and prepared with solutions and can-do attitudes. They even came to the pilot launch of our gyms in Houston and have worked closely with us throughout, ensuring the process has been a complete success, and in fact – a wonderful experience.”
In addition, a key driver for the upgrade was to better capture accurate attendance numbers to strategically manage its G-Fit group fitness programme through more objective, real-time measurement. Whilst providing the team with a one-stop shop to access data from the entire portfolio, in real-time, across different time zones.

The fisikal app has gone live in 48 EōS Fitness sites to date, and will be rolled out across the entire portfolio, which is expected to be 90 sites by the end of the year.
